Consolidated Lamp and Glass Co.

Remarkable smoked glass decanter and stopper designed by Reuben Haley for Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.

Measures 9” tall, 7.5” wide, and 3.5” deep.

Seen in the collection at the Detroit Institute of Arts, Kirkland Museum, San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, Corning Museum of Glass, as well as other prominent institutions.

Documented in Craft in the Machine Age: The History of Twentieth-Century American Craft 1920-1945, Kardon, pg. 162.

Appraised on Antiques Roadshow season 16, episode 8.

Great condition with two minor chips, one small along the opening of the mouth, and one on interior of stopper, neither visible when bottle is corked.
